Born in Kenya, I was a sensitive yet determined child. Africa is infamous for its ever-increasing poverty and lack of equitable opportunities. I was no stranger to poverty and the cost of financial illiteracy, so I pursued a career in financial services and began to educate myself on personal finance related topics. I often helped people with financial related questions and was passionate about educating people around me on personal finance topics because it affects our relationships, productivity at school or at work, lifestyle, free time and health and well-being.
We are in a Financial Illiteracy Epidemic but the good news is, Financial education will empower us to make beneficial independent financial decisions.“The Ultimate Personal Finance Guide To Financial Independence” is the first of my many attempts to empower communities through financial literacy.

I worked for Global Chip companies throughout my career, churning out profits for them year after them, only to realize I wasn’t changing the system on a fundamental level.
Africa is infamous for its ever-increasing poverty and lack of opportunities, but I know we can find a way to fight against it with self-education and personal finances. “The Ultimate Personal Finance Guide To Financial Independence” is the first of my many attempts to empower the workforce through financial freedom.
Work History
After completing my Bachelor of Commerce in Finance, I started my career in the financial service industry under a Global Blue Chip company. Fast forward five years of hard work and consistent performance to a promotion that helped me relocate to London. It was an opportunity of a lifetime, so I put my FCCA (Fellow Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) certificate to good use in the investment sector.
After two years in London, another opportunity took me to Ireland, where I am currently based. I have worked with several Global Blue Chip companies throughout my career and explored the accountant and finance sectors to further my professional repertoire.
